Insurance agent email list: agencies you can reach

By Keencrest · 2026-11-01

People searching for "insurance agent email list" usually sell to independent insurance agencies: typical buyers are agency-management software, lead vendors, carriers' recruiters, marketing and training firms. The list itself is easy to find. A list you can actually write to is harder, and a bad one costs more than it saves through bounced mail and a damaged sending domain. This guide explains what a good one contains and how to test it before paying.

Where the contacts come from

Independent agencies publish an office email and a site; captive agents (State Farm, Allstate) sit under a brand and often have a single page.

What to know first

Distinguish independent agencies (they choose carriers and buy tools) from captive agents (tied to one carrier, limited buying power). Agent licences are public on state insurance department sites, which lets you verify an agency is real and active.

What a row should look like

Each row is one unique business. These are the columns in our lead-pack CSV, with a real row from our Austin plumbers run (format shown; we have not run this trade yet, and will do so as a free sample on request):

How to verify a list before you use it

  1. Open ten websites at random and confirm the email appears on the page.
  2. Send a plain test to five addresses and look at bounces. A small number is normal.
  3. Deduplicate by website domain. Dedupe by domain; captive agents sharing a brand domain should be treated separately.
  4. Remove anything personal-looking (jane.smith@) unless the person published it for business.

What a list costs, by route

RouteWhat you payCatch
Fiverr "b2b lead list" gigsTiered gigs of roughly 200 to 500 leads. One buyer report cites $100 to $200 for 500 leads that delivered 200; another cites $800 for 50,000 leads of which 10,000 were clean.Delivery takes 2 to 5 days, and quality varies by seller.
ClayLaunch about $167 to $185 a month for 2,500 to 3,000 data credits; Growth about $446 to $495 a month for 6,000 (clay.com/pricing).A one-off list costs you a month's plan, plus time to learn the tool.
ApolloBasic $49 per seat per month billed annually, or $65 billed monthly; Professional $79 annual, $99 monthly (apollo.io/pricing, read 2026-11-01). Credits are 30,000 a seat a year on Basic annual. Its data leans toward named employees at larger companies, not the contacts a local business publishes itself.
Do it yourself on ApifyOur own Google Maps Leads Actor costs $0.0015 a place plus $0.002 for each site with an email found: about $3.50 per 1,000 leads. You run the tool, handle cleaning and deduping, and check the results.
Keencrest lead packs$19 for 250 leads, $49 for 1,000, $99 for 2,500, free 25-lead sample.Orders are by email and paid by PayPal invoice; no automated checkout yet.

That puts a 250-lead pack below the entry gigs on Fiverr and far below a month of Clay, delivered within an hour of payment instead of days. Doing it yourself is cheaper still if you are happy to run a tool; this walkthrough covers it.

Compliance in two paragraphs

US CAN-SPAM applies to commercial email to businesses: say who you are, do not mislead in the subject line, include a working opt-out and honour it quickly. Role addresses (info@, office@) are the safest targets; in the UK and EU, PECR treats a company's role address more leniently than a named person. This is general information, not legal advice.

The sample CSV now holds 17 rows (rows with only a free-mail or personal-looking email, and rows from a directory whose terms forbid scraping, were removed on 2026-11-02), and all 17 have a business email and a phone.
