CEO email list: finding founders who just raised money

By Keencrest · 2026-11-01

People searching for "ceo email list" typically want to reach decision makers. Buyers include vendors selling to executives: finance, legal, HR, security, recruiting and software. A static database of executives goes stale fast. A better target for many sellers is the executive of a company that has just raised money, because that company has budget and is spending it.

Where the contacts come from

A fresh SEC Form D filing names the executives of a company that has just sold securities, with the company address and phone. It is public record and free.

What to know first

A generic CEO email list is stale by design: executives change roles and companies shut. A newly funded company is different, because the filing is days old, the company has budget and it is buying. The record gives names, titles and a company phone, not a verified inbox, so you pair it with the company website to find the right address.

What a record looks like

From the week of Oct 26 2026 on our free Funded this week page: Warp Sciences Inc., Portola Valley, CA, raised so far $194,609,879, filed 2026-10-26, with a link to the SEC filing. The Form D record itself also carries company phone, address, industry group, number of investors, exemption used and the named executives and directors; our page and paid list keep to company-level fields and do not republish individuals' names.

How to use it

  1. Pull the week's filings and drop funds, SPVs and LPs.
  2. Match each company to its website (a company-domain lookup does this in bulk).
  3. Find the published contact on the site, or write via the company's main channel naming the executive from the filing.
  4. Reference the raise factually and briefly; do not pretend you know the round's details beyond the filing.

Compliance

Funds, SPVs and LPs make up most Form D volume and are not sales prospects; filter to operating companies. The filing is public record, but a person named in it did not opt in to your email. CAN-SPAM requires identification and an opt-out; in the UK and EU, prefer role addresses and a clear legitimate-interest reason. This is general information, not legal advice.

Free every week: the Funded this week page lists the 20 largest new raises, and the full list of every filing (company-level fields) is the paid edition on that page.
