Best Google Maps lead scrapers in 2026: price per place compared
The broad term "google maps scraper" gets about 1,600 searches a month in the US with a $6.93 suggested bid, "google maps lead scraper" about 50 with a $7.94 bid, and "google maps email extractor" about 30 with a $14.77 bid (Google Ads data via DataForSEO, 2026-11-01). Most buyers want one thing: a spreadsheet of local businesses with a way to contact them. The price that matters is therefore price per place plus the price of getting an email.
Comparison
| Tool | Free tier | Place price | Emails and contacts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Outscraper Google Maps Scraper | First 500 places free | $3 per 1,000 places from 501 to 100,000; $1 per 1,000 after 100,000 | The pricing page lists enrichments for all tiers without a stated extra charge, and says its separate Emails and Contacts Scraper has its own price. We did not find the figure on that page, so check it. |
| Google Maps Scraper (Apify Store, by compass) | Apify Free plan includes $5 of usage a month | $0.004 per place on the Free tier ($4 per 1,000), $0.003 Bronze, $0.002 Silver, $0.0015 Gold, down to $0.000756 on the top tier | Company contacts enrichment: $0.002 per place on the Free tier, charged per place. Filters add $0.001 per place. Business leads enrichment (named person, work email) is $0.005 each on paid plans. 677,109 users on the listing, by far the most used. |
| Data Gleaner Google Maps Leads (ours) | Apify Free plan $5 of usage a month | $0.0015 per place on the Free and Bronze tiers ($1.50 per 1,000), $0.001275 Silver, $0.00105 Gold and above | Website contacts (emails, phones, socials from the place's own site): $0.002, charged only when something is found. Decision maker (a named person with title): $0.002 each. 15 users on the listing. |
What this means in money
For 1,000 places on the lowest-volume tiers, using the published prices:
- Outscraper: $0 for the first 500, then 500 x $0.003 = $1.50 for the rest, so $1.50 for the first 1,000 places before any enrichment charge.
- Apify Google Maps Scraper: 1,000 x $0.004 = $4, plus $2 for company contacts enrichment, so $6 per 1,000 places with contacts.
- Ours: 1,000 x $0.0015 = $1.50 for the places. If 600 of them have a website we can read an email or phone from, add 600 x $0.002 = $1.20, so $2.70. The 600 is an assumption; the charge follows your actual hit rate.
The Apify per-place prices fall with a paid Apify plan (the Starter plan is $19 a month with $19 of usage, per apify.com/pricing), so at higher volume the gap narrows. Outscraper's first 500 places are free, which makes it the cheapest way to test.
When each is the right choice
- Outscraper: a one-off pull of a few hundred places, or a very large pull above 100,000 where $1 per 1,000 is the lowest listed price here. Confirm the email-enrichment price before you rely on it.
- compass Google Maps Scraper: you want the broadest feature set (reviews, images, filters, social and lead enrichment) and the most battle-tested Actor, and are happy to pay more per place.
- Ours: you want local business leads with contacts at the lowest listed per-place price and pay-on-found contacts. We offer fewer extras and have far less usage, so run a small test on your city and category first. A walkthrough with a real output is in Google Maps leads to CSV, and the options (official API, DIY, Actor) are in Google Maps scraper options. If you would rather buy a finished list than run a tool, see our lead lists.
Try it: Google Maps Leads Scraper on Apify. $0.0015 per place, contacts $0.002 only when found. The Apify free plan includes monthly credit, so a test run costs nothing out of pocket.
