US WARN layoff notices this week
Employers must tell a state 60 days before a mass layoff or plant closing. We read each state's own published list and put them in one table. In the 28 days to 2026-11-02: 32 notices covering 3,285 workers from 6 states (Washington, Texas, Maryland, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Minnesota).

Employers whose name matches (ignoring punctuation and suffixes like Inc and LLC) on the lists of at least two states, in the 12 months to 2026-11-02. Counts and states only: a count says nothing about the reason for any notice. "Address match" means rows in two states share a street address; "name only" means only the name matched, so the employers may be unrelated companies. States publish different windows (column "Feed window"), so a count covers only what each feed holds.

Fields and caveats
New Jersey and Pennsylvania publish the posting month only, so their notice dates show as YYYY-MM. Texas data comes from the state's open-data copy, which can lag the agency's own site (see the note in the table). Washington's list gives the newest notices. California's file covers the current fiscal year. Dates are as the state published them; the "layoff date" is the first layoff or closure date. This is a data feed, not legal advice.
